This paper explores and evaluates QR code technology in Malaysia businesses, particularly small-medium enterprises (SMEs) in the COVID-19 pandemic and endemic phase. However, the understanding of using QR code technology among SMEs in Malaysia is still limited. This study was derived with the objective to enhance the awareness and acceptance of businesspeople and SMEs in Malaysia of the importance of QR code technology in their business operations. In this study, it emphasizes on the digital adoption of QR code technology for SMEs in Malaysia, the basis of QR code technology, and QR code benefits to all small and medium businesses. The data in this study was obtained from the articles related to SMEs in Malaysia in analyzing this study. © 2023 Author(s).
