This study explores the implementation of Google Site as a digital learning medium to enhance students’ learning outcomes and motivation in the Qur’an and Hadith subject at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Medan. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group, the research involved 37 eleventh-grade students in the experimental group. The data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests, motivation questionnaires, and observations. Findings revealed a significant increase in both cognitive achievement and learning motivation. The average motivation score improved from 68.4 (moderate) to 87.6 (high), while the average achievement score rose from 72.1 to 89.0, surpassing the school’s Minimum Mastery Criteria. The normalized gain score (N-Gain) of 0.61 for both variables indicates a high level of improvement. The results suggest that Google Site, with its interactive features and multimedia integration, provides an effective platform for student-centered learning, contributing positively to student engagement and academic performance. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
