This research was done by using remote sensing technique entitled Natural Disaster Mitigation of Sinabung Mountain by Using Landsat Satellite Image. This research was aimed to identify spreading of lava flow area, level of damaged area and temperature caused by Sinabung Mountain eruption from 2013 to 2017, data collection was done randomly with total 60 central points of field data for satellite image for comparison. Data analysis was one by using the fifth version of Arc GIS 10.3 Envi 4.7 software and Landsat 8 Oli and GPS (Global Position System). The result showed the changes of damaged area caused by Sinabung Mountain eruption in each year with the lowest average of LST is in 2016, it is 35.24°C and the highest average of LST is in 2013, it is 47.42°C and the significant change of the NDVI average in Sinabung Mountain area from year to year. © 2018 Author(s).
