The instruments used were tests and non-tests in which science process skills were in the form of student worksheets and critical thinking skills were in the form of essay questions consisting of 5 validated questions. Hypothesis testing using different test (t-test). Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that: (1) the science process skills of students who were taught with the scientific inquiry model were better than those who were taught using conventional learning, (2) the critical thinking skills of students who were taught with the scientific inquiry model were better than in students who are taught with conventional learning. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
