School readiness in the new normal era of online teaching and learning at junior high school

Abstract

This study aims to determine school readiness for the application of online learning (E-learning) at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Medan by looking at the factors that affect the increase in the application of E-learning. This is a quantitative study that uses a questionnaire-formatted instrument. The readiness of teachers and school infrastructure is the focus of this research. 11 SMP teachers took part in this study and became respondents. Muhammadiyah 8 Medan. The results of this study suggest that there is learning readiness when using E-learning, but it takes habituation to make online learning more effective. © IEOM Society International.
